I hand-cut, and hand saddle stitched this notebook cover in the highest quality 5/6 oz. full-grain American leather. The leather journal cover in the pictures are fitted to the dimensions of one of the most versatile and highest quality notebooks: the Leuchtturm 1917 in the A5 size. The leather is cut closely to the hardcover of the notebook so as to have a more professional look. I use a German-made, marine grade, single filament polyester waxed thread: the best for lasting leather work. The stitching is also set into a groove to further protect it. I also limited the amount of stitching to what is necessary.
